With more than 25 years of experience in employment law, claim handling, and trial work, Angella Myers offers deep, practical insight into complex workplace matters.

Licensed in Louisiana, Texas and every federal court in each jurisdiction, throughout her career, she has represented companies in workforce reductions, as well as OSHA, EEOC, and DOL investigations, wage and hour litigation, and claims arising under Title VII, the ADA, ADEA, and FMLA.

Angella also brings substantial experience conducting sensitive and highrisk investigations, including matters involving embezzlement, sexual assault, sexual harassment, and other serious organizational concerns. Her work is informed not only by her legal background but also by her experience as a company founder, owner, and CEO—giving her a uniquely businessaligned perspective.

Today, as the owner of Myers Law, PLLC and WTWI by Myers, PLLC, Angella is dedicated to helping companies proactively prevent claims and the costly litigation that often follows. She combines extensive legal experience with practical, actionable guidance to support employers in building safer, compliant, and more resilient workplaces.

Early Legal Career in Louisiana

1997/1998

Ms. Myers’ legal career began in Lafayette, Louisiana at Pries Kraft, and Roy, where she worked as an associate attorney for three years. It was here that she first started assisting clients with employment law matters and extensive litigation work, including work in excessive force/police brutality cases.

Transition to Texas Employment Law Practice

2000

After relocating to Dallas in 2000, she joined a well-established Texas firm. Licensed in both Louisiana and Texas, Ms. Myers quickly took up advocating for businesses with 100% focus on issues relating to labor and employment.

Founding The Myers Law Group

2010

After co-founding and co-owning a firm from 2006 to 2010, Ms. Myers decided it was time to create something new. Coming from a family of business owners, she recognized the absolute need to provide companies of all sizes with superior legal services. She created The Myers Law Group, LLP – a firm of six attorneys with more than 100 years of combined experience. The firm was small in size by design to ensure businesses receive the attention they deserve from experienced litigators. The results remained large and the team eventually joined a national practice where all thrived.

Launching Myers Law, PLLC

2026

An opportunity to serve as a client’s CEO saw Ms. Myers step away from litigation to solely serve that client for a year and a half. While the venture was enjoyable and successful, her true calling as an employment lawyer could not be ignored. Myers Law, PLLC (and its sister company WTWI by Myers) were created to help companies proactively prevent claims and costly litigation that often follows.
